Royal Doulton "Foaming Quart" Vintage Office/Home Collectible Decor Figurine

This is a spectacular Royal Doulton "Foaming Quart" vintage sculpture. It was first introduced in 1955 and retired in 1992. Item number is HN 2162. It's an incredible piece by Margaret Peggy Davies. This incredible piece is about a flamboyant heavy-set man. His face shows that he is very happy and having fun. He is sitting on a wooden brown chair is slouching down. He is holding up a beer jug on his left hand. He is wearing a purple designed hat with colorful feathers. He has a salt and pepper hair and beard. His outfit is orange with some yellow. He has a grey cape, purple pants and thigh high boots. He's wearing long leather looking gloves. He has a brown belt with his sword going through the belt. He also has a small wallet tied to his belt. Well decorated with amazing details. It's in a glazed finish. It measures 6" and 5 1/2" wide. The underside marked with the Royal Doulton printed back stamp of the period in green. No original box. Last known original retail price is $175.00.
